A young woman goes to teach at the Ravenscroft Institute, a spooky old girls' school overrun by ants and staffed by some unusual types. Spurred on by a series of horrific hallucinations, she begins to investigate the mysterious disappearances of several students.

A beautiful young model doesn't mind her architect father having an affair with his secretary, but when he announces that he's going to marry the family maid--who he has also been having an affair with--his daughter decides to put her foot down and gathers some of her friends to help prevent the marriage.

Following a pack of cigarettes that ends up with partner after partner, the film moves from Paris to Rome, Cannes, Hong Kong, Los Angeles and New York, exposing carnal couplings that take place everywhere from a furniture store to an airplane cockpit.
