Brian Eno's second album collaboration with Dieter Moebius and Hans-Joachim Roedelius of Cluster consists of slow-moving instrumentals full of repeated synthesizer sound patterns and sustained guitar notes in the ambient style familiar from Eno's collaborations with Robert Fripp and albums of his own, such as Discreet Music. One song, 'Broken Head,' features recited vocals by Eno, and on another, 'The Belldog,' he sings. On 'Tzima N'arki,' his vocal is turned backwards.

Everything That Happens Will Happen Today is the second album made in collaboration between David Byrne and Brian Eno,[1] released on August 18, 2008.[2] It is the first collaboration between the two since 1981's My Life in the Bush of Ghosts and Eno's work producing and co-writing with Talking Heads. Byrne and Eno worked on creating the album - a mix of electronic and Gospel music - throughout 2007 and early 2008 over the e-mail and have used word-of-mouth and Internet sales to market the music. Byrne will tour for this album, performing songs from both this release and from the duo's previous collaborations, through late 2008 and early 2009.

Brian Eno first came across the work of Rick Holland in the late 90’s during the Map-Making project; a series of collaborative works between students of the Royal College, the Guildhall School of Music, the Royal Academy of Music, the Royal College of Music, the National Youth Orchestra and the English National Ballet, among others.
In 2003, Brian and Rick made their first music together (the resulting work does not appear on this album). In the intervening time since that initial session they have met infrequently to work on new compositions.
In early 2011, following the release of ‘Small Craft on a Milk Sea’ (Brian’s debut album for Warp Records), the pair resolved to finish the project. ‘Drums Between the Bells’ is the result.
