The second chapter of the "Troublesome Night" series, this movie consists of three stories. The first story is about a girl that called a radio show for advice and comfort after her boyfriend died tragically. One of the station DJs unconsciously suggested that she should commit suicide if she wants to be reunited with her beau. Unfortunately, the girl takes the suggestion and the DJ becomes racked with guilt as the girl's ghost returns to haunt him. The second story is about a group of friends voyage to the sea. During the trip, they encountered mysterious events after they rescued an eerie woman from a boat wreckage. The third story is about another DJ that quit his job after the untimely deaths of his co-workers. To escape the pain, he becomes a street racer. But, his thrill rides were hindered when he stumbled upon a sinister spirit by the roadside

影片的大部分时间，都有三方势力的互消互长，拉扯抗衡。一方是叶秋（郑伊健饰）。他曾经是江湖中的猛兽，然而8年狱中生活后，如今的他却只想办正道企业，振雄图大志，洗清背景。但似乎他的决心并不为人所理解。另一方是鬼仔（冯德伦饰）。他就像叶秋的过去一样，享受着叱咤江湖的威风而忘记回头，并视叶秋为威胁。而宋国明警官（方中信饰），则时刻都在等待一个时机，将两方一同擒下。
鬼仔以叶秋心爱的盲女（霍思燕饰）为诱饵，迫使他进行一桩交易。宋国明闻风亦开始蠢蠢欲动。但是，正是在这场战斗中，宋国明得以慢慢意识到叶秋的苦心，而叶秋，也令鬼仔对自己的黑道生活有了新的顿悟。

华山派大弟子令狐冲（吕颂贤 饰）生性放荡不羁，和古板严肃的掌门岳不群（王伟 饰）形成鲜明对比。令狐冲和岳不群的女儿小师妹灵珊从小就青梅竹马，各人都认为令狐冲日后将会继承岳掌门的衣钵。令狐冲虽然加入华山派多年，但武功一直平平，直到一次偶遇剑宗风清扬并被授予名震江湖的独孤九剑，令狐冲剑法大有进展。心胸狭窄的岳不群发现令狐冲武功大涨，大有超越自己之势，暗中对他十分不满。另一方面，林平之（何宝生 饰）家中因为藏有武林中人人欲得的葵花宝典而满门遭到毒手，只有他一人逃脱。岳不群为了获得葵花宝典而将平之招入华山派，表面上是为了保护平之，其实暗怀鬼胎。令狐冲被岳不群借口逐出了师门，连一向感情深厚的小师妹亦转投了林平之的怀抱，令狐冲心灰意冷之际开始独自闯荡江湖……

钟笑荷(李司棋 饰)与丈夫甘泰祖(夏雨 饰)同心协力于微时办好“家好月圆”饼铺，善良的笑荷接济了刚与丈夫偷渡来香港的于红（米雪 饰），没想到于红到头来反而夺走自己的丈夫以及饼铺，连6个子女也不能全保。
时间过去，子女长大，再生风波。长子甘永家阿卡（陈豪 饰）不停炒股不理正业，又与养女阿月（杨怡 饰）和表妹嘉美（徐子珊 饰）陷入感情漩涡；爱子阿好（林峰 饰）花名管家仔，人如其名凡事把家庭关系放在第一位，总是冷落女友导致分手，当青梅竹马的于素秋（钟嘉欣 饰）从英国毕业回来，阿好的爱意重新萌芽，但阴差阳错的时机错失，让于素秋投入了凌志信（黄宗泽 饰）医生的感情中。最小的女儿阿庆也面临正常投入社会以及谈情说爱的烦恼。
阿红却并没有打算放过这家人，总是找寻时机发动各种风波，在各种波澜中，反而让祖太、甘老太（李香琴 饰）以及孩子们心向荷妈。爱和权力的斗争，连续上演，混合着这群孩子的人生，故事会走向何种结局。

A young Cambodian man who has been trained to fight for money in his country is hired to kill someone in Hong Kong. He performs the hit and then flees from Hong Kong police, who are wrestling with internal problems of a model cop and his son, who is also on the force and who was told by his dad not to become a police officer.

The young monk Taka and his three disciples are captured by a demonic tree. Taka manages to escape thanks to the magic stick of Monkey King and decided to go free his companions. En route, he encounters a strange ally called Meiyan, a girl who is half-human and half monster. As Taka and his new friend set off on a fantastic adventure they will face many hardships and battles and may very well decide the fate of humanity and the entire universe...
