Follows a young girl as she embarks on a perilous journey to earn funds to reclaim her family's remains.

民國56年，兩位女郎陪著一位美國大兵共浴的照片，登上美國時代雜誌。那是北投溫泉酒家林立，情色文化的興盛年代。
　　其中「別有天溫泉旅館」是近二十年前，在王清水的資助下，由陳愛嬌所頂下經營，是愛嬌一生青春的心血，也是旅館員工生活的依靠。年輕時自殺而無法生育的愛嬌，十五年前買來養女純純，盼望母女相伴，一圓天倫親情夢。卻因為恩人王清水投資建廠，資金出現問題。唯一可以幫助王清水的金主，覬覦著純純正值青春的美貌。愛嬌為了報恩，不得不含淚拜託純純下海接客，甚至將「別有天」抵押給銀行貸款。

A story of a woman born in 60s grew up in a Chinese herbal medicine store in southern Taiwan. Love, marriage, and seniority in human relationships around her collide together, leading to a different aspect of life.

Wei-lai, a 26-year-old woman, has worked hard to become the top choice for others. She is neither exceptionally intelligent nor conventionally attractive, with an ordinary appearance and a modest educational background. People rate her as 3.5 stars. In contrast, her older sister Bao-qian is the complete package. They have had a love-hate relationship since childhood. Undeterred, Wei-lai decides to seize the opportunity and continue working hard. Even if she can’t reach the status of a five-star package, her goal is to achieve a rating of 4.2 stars.
