神秘的沙尼达尔之花，在美丽女性的胸口恣意绽放。将花朵取下并提取有效养分之后，可以制成效果极其明显的特效药。一家名为“沙尼达尔”的机构随之建立，该机构从全国各地网罗来那些为数极少的可以培育沙尼达尔之花的女性，为她们提供了高达一亿日元的报酬以及周到舒适的生活环境。治疗专家美月响子（黑木华 饰）与植物学家大泷贤治（绫野刚 饰）在该机构邂逅，在与田村友里惠（伊藤步 饰）、美本美树（山下莉奥 饰）、立花遥（刈谷友衣子 饰）等女性的接触过程中，他们渐渐了解到沙尼达尔之花的危险之处，而两人之间某种感情也悄然萌生。

在寒冷却充满这人情味的札幌，吊儿郎当的私家侦探（大泉洋 饰）和搭档高田（松田龙平 饰）过着有一搭无一搭的懒散生活。他们的朋友“雅子”（ゴリ 饰）是个异装癖，不久前幸运得到了参加全国魔术大赛的入场券，侦探他们还特意为雅子开了庆功会。谁知才没多久，雅子便突然死亡。警方的调查完全没有任何进展，而侦探无法坐视好友不明不白死亡，于是和高田展开调查，谁知顺藤摸瓜竟发现雅子之死的背后藏着一个显赫的政界要员——橡胁孝一郎（渡部笃郎 饰），一切由此变得复杂和棘手起来。雪上加霜的是，随着小提琴手河岛弓子（尾野真千子 饰）的加入，一切朝着失控的方向发展……

午后学校的露台上，名叫香奈的女生突然自杀身亡，在场的同学杏子（大岛优子 饰），听到了香奈自杀时哼出的令人毛骨悚然的歌声。事件引起了媒体的骚动，三流杂志《月刊MASACA》的编辑长濑陆（松田龙平 饰）和同时太一（伊势谷有介 饰），经调查找到了事件的根源——曾经唱了十年前发行的流行歌曲《我的花》的人都自杀了。

A burning Godzilla, on the verge of meltdown, emerges to lay siege to Hong Kong. At the same time horrifying new organisms are discovered in Japan. These crustacean-like beings are seemingly born of the Oxygen Destroyer, the weapon that killed the original Godzilla.

Two fishing scout pilots make a horrifying discovery when they encounter a second Godzilla alongside a new monster named Anguirus. Without the weapon that killed the original, authorities attempt to lure Godzilla away from the mainland. But Anguirus soon arrives and the two monsters make their way towards Osaka as Japan braces for tragedy.

When a massive, gilled monster emerges from the deep and tears through the city, the government scrambles to save its citizens. Following Oorai's victory over Saunders, the school's next opponent is Anzio. This is an OVA which covers the battle of Oorai versus Anzio, which was not fully shown in the regular anime series.

原作は大友克洋のマンガだが、作者の過激な即興的手法によってそこからどんどん離れてゆき、気がつくと、8ミリ以外のメディアでは絶対成し得ない作者ならではの世界が構築されている。生身の人間達がマンガよりマンガ的にメチャクチャわめき狂い走りまくる超映画的躍動感の凄さと、全く対照的な静の映像から醸し出されるペーソスの心地良さ。

An elegiac ode to a loner who finds it difficult to fit in and the inevitable eruption of his frustration, Isolation of 1/880000 tells the story of Takemitsu, a disabled young man caught in the “examination hell” of trying to get into one of Japan’s top universities. Director Sogo Ishii (now renamed as Gakuryu Ishii) was the original 8mm punk, whose works expressed unhinged energy and made speed, intensity and rebellion their stylistic and thematic center, carrying over into his later 16mm and 35mm films such as Crazy Thunder Road and Crazy Family. In contrast, Isolation prefigures the more ethereal aesthetic of his big budget 1990s films.
