女演员#吉高由里子#（30）将主演4月起每周二晚间10点播出的TBS台火10新剧「我准时回家」，首次挑战OL并首次主演该台连续剧。本剧改编自朱野归子的同名小说，吉高在剧中饰演WEB制作公司工作的32岁独身WEB导演东山结衣，从小看着工作狂人不回家的父亲长大直到毕业后进入了破烂不堪的公司，在工作事故中背负着过去的她是个信守着「一定要准时回家的」职场女性。该剧以很多公司的“加班问题”切入观点，重新审视关于结婚观、黑心企业、孤独老死等切身利益的事情。另外，共演包括饰演结衣原未婚夫的向井理（36），饰演生完孩子后立马回归职场的前辈役内田有纪（43），以及饰演黑心上司役的中山裕介（47），二月上旬开始拍摄。

短い作品ではあるが、『ラスト・リゾート』から約13年半ぶりに作られた『MS08小隊』の完全新作々品である。
最終決戦の地に向かう08小隊の頭上に飛来するグフ・フライトタイプとの死闘を描く。
あらすじ
密林地帯を抜け、最終決戦の地に向かうガンダムEz-8に搭乗するシロー・アマダ率いる第08MS小隊。その途中の陸橋にさしかかった瞬間、カレンの搭乗する陸戦型ガンダムが狙撃され、さらに上空からは、ジオン軍のMS・グフフライトタイプが襲い掛かる！危機迫る状況の中、シローたちはどう切り抜けていくのか…!？第08MS小隊、新たなる戦いの記録が今ここに！

UC.(宇宙世纪)0079年，人类已经在宇宙发展并建立了许多巨大的殖民卫星，让人类能够居住在宇宙中。位于SIDE3的吉翁公国不堪忍受地球联邦政府对其剥削和压迫，遂宣布独立并组建对地球联邦宣战。在战争中双方先后开发了机动战士并投入战场。NEWTYPE少年阿姆罗·雷无意中驾驶上联邦军新开发的RX-78-2高达，卷入后来被称为“一年战争”中，并与其宿敌夏亚·阿兹纳布尔相遇。故事即是以阿姆罗为中心，描述他跟着高达的母舰白色要塞，历经种种困难而成长的故事，还被认定为少见的“NewType”。不过第43话中阿姆罗能够跟怀特要塞中多位主要人物进行心灵感应，可以确定他们都是被阿姆罗引发起觉醒的NewType。
主角群并不是唯一参与这场世纪之战的人群，而且战斗也不限于主角所参与的战役，在后来的官方OVA和MSV等各种衍生作品中还有陆续补充的内容，并且收入官方的一年战争史中。本片的战斗并不见得完全是一般高达迷心中决定性的战役，或许更像主角群的心路历程和个人战斗记录。
本作品的主要故事是描写两个政治上对立组织的战争中，偶然但主动地成为军用机器人驾驶员的主角，以及他的同伴们，在战火中拼命求生的群像剧。不止主角方面，支援主角的人们以及与主角对立的吉恩公国军官士兵也有许多个性丰富的人物。本作品对于双方角色的细致描写使得作品的世界内容非常丰富，也产生了许多有思想深度的名场景与故事。
本作品中少年在地球与殖民地的战乱中，为阻止吉恩军对平民的无辜伤害，偶然中坐上联邦军的新锐的机动兵器“Mobile Suit”高达(高达) RX-78-2，跟着怀特要塞流转于地球与宇宙间的情节，也在日后许多续作中出现。包括《机动战士Z高达》中的卡缪·比丹，《机动战士高达 ZZ》中的捷多与《机动战士高达独角兽》中的巴纳吉。
之后还推出了三部剧场版动画《高达屹立在大地之上》，《哀战士》《相逢在宇宙》，此作无论人气，票房，收视都是高达系列中最高的。
