Kind of a neat "fuck you" to white colonists appropriating the land and the culture of a peoples to repackage and sell it back to them for their own gains to have the locals take over a beautiful bride by using what the colonists don't believe to be real or threatening; a real tit-for-tat tragedy at play here, and so beautifully shot.
