Kylie Bunbury饰演Ginny，成为第一位在美国职业棒球大联盟的女性选手，位置是投手。Mark-Paul Gosselaar饰演女主的队友Mike Lawson，他是个英俊﹑有魅力﹑自信自己能成为的美国职棒名人堂中的一员，位置是捕手。场外受女性爱慕，场内则散发领导的气质，他不知道如何界定与Ginny之间的火花，尽管一开始他对女主抱持怀疑，但还是给予指导，并在不久后为「球队安定度」给出新的定义。

Mo McRae饰演全明星赛选手Blip，是个说得跟跑的一般快的外野手，是Ginny未加入职棒前，在棒球界里的唯一朋友。Blip在队中犹如她的兄长，希望令她在场中有家的感觉。Meagan Holder饰演Evelyne，Blip的妻子，是Ginny的老朋友；她知道女主备受庞大压力，她为女主减压的方式是调杯血腥玛丽，与她进行闺蜜私房话。

In addition, a successful female classmates confronts her high school crush and prom date (where she found out he was gay). A whole lot more happens when this class reunites and starts new friendships.
