マンガ家の浦沢直樹さんが、マンガ家たちの制作現場に密着するNHK・Eテレの番組「浦沢直樹の漫勉」のサードシーズンが9、10月に放送されることが18日、分かった。「男組」などの池上遼一さん、「ぶっせん」などの三宅乱丈さん、「スカイハイ」などの高橋ツトムさんが出演するほか、浦沢さんの「BILLY BAT」の最終回の執筆作業に10日間にわたって密着する。

漫画家の浦沢直樹がプレゼンターを務め、日本の漫画家の執筆現場に密着し、作品制作過程を追うドキュメンタリー番組。
番組は、事前に収録した制作映像を見ながら、毎回迎えるゲスト漫画家と浦沢との対談形式でお互いの制作手法の違いや共通点などをざっくばらんに語り合う形で進行する[1]。
2014年11月9日にパイロット版として放送され、2015年9月にシーズン1として4回放送。2016年3月にシーズン2が放送予定[2]。
データニュース社が行っているテレビ視聴アンケート「テレビウォッチャー」によると、第1回放送（ゲストは東村アキコ）の視聴者満足度は5段階評価で4.29の高評価だった[1]。

In 1960, Bilal arrived for the first time at the Gare de l'Est in Paris. He was then 10 years old, did not speak a word of French but is already talented in the drawing. Years later, millions of albums sold around the world led to his success and popularity. Then he took another step in developing his post-apocalyptic worlds on the brink of explosion, inspiring his own films such as "Bunker Palace Hôtel", "Tykho Moon" or "Immortel (ad vitam)".
This TV documentary (broadcasted on January 2010, France 5) shows how his graphic world and imagination are grown up around great poets (Baudelaire) or fantastic writers (Edgar Allan Poe, Lovecraft). And it goes beyond the image, to make us discover the wounded, deracinated artist still in the footsteps ("empreintes" in French) of his childhood.

Andrew looks at artists who have chosen the natural world as their subject matter and explores how drawing has helped man to understand his place in the universe. The programme covers the Rennaissance, the Eastern way, Turner, Constable and contemporary artists Anthony Gormley and Richard Long.
Episode 2: Storylines
Drawing has always been an essential tool for the telling of stories. Andrew looks at the satire of Gillray, Goya and Hogarth and its influence on photojournalism, American comics, Japanese Manga and Hollywood storyboards today.
Episode 3: All in the Mind
Andrew investigates drawing as a primal human instinct and a learned discipline, looking at the earliest cave drawings and the work of David Hockney and Picasso. The programme uses the latest developments in cognitive science to examine why we draw the way we do.
Episode 4: Drawing by Design
Andrew explores the role drawing has played in technical design and architecture, studying complex structures such as the Guggenheim and Boeing 777. From Leonardo to Libeskind, he shows how drawing has been a crucial tool in the history of scientific and technological discovery.

French artist and author Jean Giraud is one of the most famous and influential comic strip illustrators and authors of all time. He achieved his greatest fame as Moebius - not so much a pseudonym as an alter ego. With his triple-split personality - Jean Giraud, Moebius, Gir - he succeeded in making his work accessible in popular comic strip series like Blueberry, in metaphysical fantasies like John Difool and, not least, to a broad public, with set designs for films such as The Fifth Element. As a co-founder of the comic magazine Métal Hurlant he shook up the world of bourgeois French comics and American super-heroes in 1975, creating a whole new 'grown up' way of looking at the comic strip art form. How could a man invent all those strange places and stories, collaborate with some of the world's maddest artists and even go so far to seriously prepare himself to be picked up by aliens - and then go live a quiet and secure life back in Paris? Was he ever in danger of losing his mind? Or was it necessary for his art to live a life like that, and out of self-protection to split into in different personalities? In Moebius Redux - A Life in Pictures an exceptional artist tells his life's and work's story.
