天海佑希及泽村一树将主演阿嘉莎•克莉丝蒂两部作品改编的日剧，天海佑希主演1957年作品《命案目睹记》（4.50 from Paddington），原作主角是以敏锐观察力破解困难案件的老妇人，今次日版就改为由天海佑希演的中年女强人。故事讲述主角天乃瞳子（天海佑希）是前刑警，现 为危机管理专家，某夜她丈夫的母亲乘搭快车，看到和列车并排行驶的另一部车上有男性勒紧女性的颈，虽然立即通报，但因为车掌贪睡让警察以为她报假案，为了洗脱义母的污名，瞳子决定找出真相，推理出尸体被抛弃在豪宅的土地内，同时该豪宅又发生杀人事件，瞳子把复杂的线索集合起来，推断出事件的真相。
