How To Disappear Completely presents Seraphim - a coda to our experimental sleep music project, Mer de Revs series. To be honest with you, we’ve been considering and wanting to make this kind of record after recording Seraphim II on the first volume of Mer de Revs. Material for this album was composed and recorded over the last two years during MdR recording sessions. The end result is almost 2 hours of music that we hope you’ll enjoy as much as we did recording it. As always - THANK YOU for listening and your support.

On the soundtrack to an imagistic new film project, the darkwave duo’s limited palette verges on claustrophobia. Their winning formula hasn’t changed, but the music lacks drive.

The full-length solo debut from the former Crystal Castles singer is a dark, extreme pop record about abuse, power, and regaining control.

Artist To Watch Shygirl is known for churning out attention-grabbing singles and partaking in collaborations. Last year, she appeared on the Arca album and the Georgia album, while releasing songs like “FREAK” and “SLIME,” which appeared on her great EP ALIAS.
Now she has teamed up with slowthai for a quick, clubby anthem called “BDE.” It’s not that hard to guess what the abbreviation stands for; the lyrics are about as obscene as Slayyyter‘s “Throatzillaaa.” slowthai, who’s done collaborations with Denzel Curry, Skepta, and Pa Salieu lately, is a great addition to differentiate this track from Shygirl’s past material.
“BDE” is included on Shygirl BLU, a new longform live realization of her ALIAS EP.

'Illusion Of Choice' marks the end of the first era for Public Memory. It is comprised of three previously unreleased songs which date from as far back as the 2015 sessions for 'Wuthering Drum' up through summer 2019.
"Ledge Of Ash" is a sparse, low BPM nighttime soliloquy with spring reverb vox, PM's signature tape-delayed MS-20, a foggy piano loop and minimal drum machine. "The Maze" finds us somewhere between 2018's 'Demolition' and a b-side from 'Amok' (Atoms For Peace) where a scheming bass guitar, melting square wave synths and disjointed percussion create a spiraling labyrinth. This is also Toher's best vocal performance to date. "Before I Forget" is built on a marching drum loop with a mood that reads like a eulogy. Toher's vocal is more intimate than ever, lamenting the memory of a loved one, he sings "I passed by and you are gone now / was longing for a friend / your face in the carnival lights / could I have sent you running down."
According to Public Memory, this EP is the final installment in a series of four releases ('Illusion of Choice', 'Demolition,' 'Veil of Counsel,' 'Wuthering Drum') by the producer before shifting gears and exploring new territories - taking his brand of emotive electronic music, imbued with bowing synths, haunted vocals and dubby percussion into its next era.
