漫画家の浦沢直樹がプレゼンターを務め、日本の漫画家の執筆現場に密着し、作品制作過程を追うドキュメンタリー番組。
番組は、事前に収録した制作映像を見ながら、毎回迎えるゲスト漫画家と浦沢との対談形式でお互いの制作手法の違いや共通点などをざっくばらんに語り合う形で進行する[1]。
2014年11月9日にパイロット版として放送され、2015年9月にシーズン1として4回放送。2016年3月にシーズン2が放送予定[2]。
データニュース社が行っているテレビ視聴アンケート「テレビウォッチャー」によると、第1回放送（ゲストは東村アキコ）の視聴者満足度は5段階評価で4.29の高評価だった[1]。

日本昭和四十年代末，从事动画工作的一郎，开始向漫画家转行。而他的女友幸子在动画行业负责上色的工作。两人的前途虽然渺茫，却依旧努力地苦苦打拼着。他们的同居生活虽然贫苦，却依旧甜蜜。一郎和幸子，彼此分享着细琐但却充满滋味的爱情生活。然而这卑微的小幸福，终抵不过残酷现实的考验。坚守着的苍白爱情，还是换得曲终人散。
这部画面凝练流畅、风格质朴自然的动画短片，讲述了一个充满哀思愁绪的凄美爱情故事。导演林静一，是日本知名插画家、漫画家和动画作家，出版多部漫画集、插画集和图画书。他的作品细腻柔情，对白、画面以及音乐都结合得相当完美，《赤色挽歌》就是这样一部感人至深的力作。民谣歌手英多森魚看过此这部作品后大为触动，有感而发为其制作了同名主题曲。

婚后五年，在某网络公司上班的髙野干夫（堺雅人 饰）和毫不卖座的漫画家妻子小晴（宮﨑あおい 饰）过着平静的生活。干夫为人纤细，一丝不苟，习惯每天早上做便当，按照不同日期搭配便当的奶酪和领带。但是在巨大的工作压力下，干夫看似平静的内心渐渐失衡，他甚至一度企图自杀，经问诊才发现自己已经患了抑郁症。一向专注工作、神经大条的小晴回想，似乎早在几个月前干夫的身上便已出现了些许迹象。为了让丈夫尽快恢复健康，小晴以离婚相要挟迫使干夫辞职休养。失去了生活来源，髙野夫妇的生活陷入了前所未有的困境，但他们也在相互扶持的道路上获得了久违的快乐……
本片为細川貂々根据和丈夫望月昭真实经历撰写的同名原作改编，望月昭本人亦在片中客串角色。

In the final months of World War II, 14-year-old Seita and his sister Setsuko are orphaned when their mother is killed during an air raid in Kobe, Japan.
