大学生郭晶（白百何 饰）相恋几年的男友（郭京飞 饰）不光从不承认这段恋情，毕业时还因为她长得太丑而提出分手。大受打击的郭晶连哭的时间都没有就马上加入了找工作的大军。因为相貌的平庸，郭晶在找工作过程中屡屡碰壁，但却意外在一次面试中被高管雷蒙（郑中基 饰）看中她的才华而获得工作。
