当然，如果你已经拥有了《1962-1966》和《1967-1970》两套精选唱片，这张《1》对你的吸引力未必很大，作为一个普通乐迷，已经差不多拥有了最流行的The Beatles作品，不过如果你是忠实的「披头迷」，这张唱片的价钱还是省不了的，因为唱片的小册子印满了每一张细碟的原装封套，无论是英国版、美国版、法国版或日本版均一并印载，仿如一本迷你的The Beatles细碟全书。
况且《1962-1966》和《1967-1970》都是双唱片集，而各自收录的歌曲亦只是廿多首，相比之下，《1》就更物超所值了。
Mariah Carey在98年也曾推出过一张叫《#1's》的冠军细碟精选唱片，但就只收录16首歌，还要强硬将翻唱Brenda K.Starr的《I Still Believe》（林忆莲比她更早翻唱！）和几首未能夺魁的单曲加诸其中，比起廿七首冠军歌，也实在相差太远了！
在怀缅昔日的光辉之际，我们也应该期望着下个巨人的出现，只是，巨人得来不易，还是继续播放《Yesterday》吧……
