This is a reproduction of a library book that was digitized by Google as part of an ongoing effort to preserve the information in books and make it universally accessible.

I don't even look at Google Books at all anymore but this is an oddly interesting historical document I came across while trying to look for phrasebooks in various languages. The document is mainly in French but it also has phrases in Ottoman Turkish (which appears as a Perso-Arabic script)

My purpose on NeoDB.social is to keep a public list of books as well as music, movies, etc. that I have (physically or otherwise), that I'm interested in, and/or that I have thoughts about worth sharing.

I almost exclusively focus on nonfiction literature, in which I currently express interest in the structural/cultural aspects of written languages, the neurobiological/behavioral frameworks that explain various psychiatric disorders and symptoms, and the decoding of certain aesthetic choices in the visual arts. I also like listening to lots of music regardless of genre or country of origin, but at the moment I'm more interested in books.

I only occasionally consume fiction nowadays. So I barely watch a lot of movies, TV shows, etc. anymore. I don't play many video games anymore either. I don't listen to podcasts or audiobooks. I can't afford to see performances like musicals, concerts, etc.
