印度孟买的罗士通饭馆来了个醉汉，因为无钱付帐，他将一张彩票作抵押卖给了服务员纳姆德、杰吉、拉古、达姆。这张合买的彩票中奖，随之而来的是杰吉被杀，纳姆德遭陷害，达姆和拉古发了财，合伙办起了一家高级饭店。达姆的儿子维基在国外爱上了一个叫阿夏的姑娘，她正是杰吉的女儿，著名的歌唱家。阿夏回国后，遭流氓拦劫，被纳姆德的儿子琼尼救下，二人相爱了。维基回国后对阿夏痴心不改，琼尼不忍，决心牺牲自己的爱情，而终被阿夏识破，二人终成眷属。曾遭拉古和达姆陷害的纳姆德被一姓段的毒品贩救起并带到香港，后为段办事回到印度，并想借此洗清自己的罪名。这引起了拉古父子的不安，他们策划要将纳姆德父子、达姆父子都斩尽杀绝。经过一场激烈的搏斗，正义最终战胜了邪恶。
