A young yakuza in love with the girl who's to marry his clan oyabun, kidnaps the girl before fleeing with her. In Tokyo, he hides under the identity of a worker while the young woman becomes a waitress in a restaurant.

Businessmen arrange the early release from prison of Togawa, serving time for taking revenge on the truck driver whose carelessness confined Togawa's sister, Rie, to a wheelchair. They want Togawa to hijack an armored truck loaded with 120 million yen; their leverage is to promise him money for surgery for Rie. Togawa consents and plans the heist with three others. The plan is solid, but it doesn't go smoothly. Togawa must improvise, there are traitors somewhere, and double-crosses mount. Can Togawa escape with enough money to help his sister and ensure a passage out of Japan?

While it has been reported on several anime news sites that the newest Takashi Miike film is based on the Hashida Yukari “boy’s love” manga, WARU, the live action film is actually based on a popular 70s manga of the same title. Japanese sources clearly credit Hisao Maki’s dramatic action manga, WARU — an edgy action-packed tale of outlaw swordsman Youji Himuro — as the story on which the film is based.

Minami mistakenly kills a gangster associate of his named Brother. Almost as soon as the murder takes place, the body of the deceased man is gone, prompting Minami to conduct a search. While looking, he finds a mysterious isolated hotel where he decides to take a rest. Not only are the front desk clerks a bit strange, but even the ambiance feels unusual. Minami soon realizes he may have gotten more than he bargained for.

藤川洋一と梅沢道夫は、競馬のノミ屋で生活しているチンピラである。彼らは時折、小遣い稼ぎに仲間と組み、ライブハウスのアトラクンョンとして、“銃殺”寸劇を見せていた。洋一は、道夫と共に暴走族にからまれているところを助けた長崎裕子と、道夫は美也という女と、それぞれよろしくやっている。毎日が勝手気まま、自由人の生活であった。ある夜、二人がいつも通り、“銃殺”寸劇をやろうとライブハウスを訪れたところ、仲間の太と木村が、伊藤会の組員を巻きこみ逆鱗に触れてしまっていた。そして、殴る蹴るの暴行を加えられているが、親分格にあたる大谷の口ききで助けられた。大谷に、呼び出された洋一は、本物のやくざにならないかと誘われる。本来ならば、兄費分の道夫が順番であるが、大谷は洋一の方が器が大きいと判断したのだ。洋一は組入りのための研修として、大谷と共に挨拶まわりを始めた。道夫は、洋一を恨みこそしなかったが、複雑な心境であった。洋一の留守中、裕子がシャブに手を出してしまった。そのシャブは、洋一が大谷から一時的に預かったものだった。これがきっかけで、洋一はやくざになるのを断念した。しかし、裕子は、洋一の思いやりを裏切るように彼のもとから去って行った。酒をあおる洋一に、さらに悪い知らせが入った。道夫がノミ屋の大損で追いつめられ、預けた例のシャブを横流しし、大谷を刺してしまったのだ。組員達は道夫を捕えるために動き出した。デパートの屋上で、洋一は道夫を発見した。「死ぬのが怖い」とおびえる道夫。彼を絶対に死なせまいと決心した洋一は、車を手配し、親しい仲間と連絡を取った。閉店を待った二人は、エレベーターで地上に降りた。が、ドアが開いたとたん、目の前で銃口が火を吹いた。鮮血にまみれた洋一は、ぐったりと動かなくなった道夫を抱え、ヨロヨロと車の中に倒れ込んだ。車は品川埠頭まで走り、停止した。彼らの死の知らせを受けたやくざ達は、姿を消した。誰もいなくなった後、身をもたげる二人。銃を撃ったのは太で、お得意の“銃殺”寸劇だったのだ。二人は船に乗って日本を後にし、彼らの笑い声がこだました。

21世纪，地球回复昔日的和平，但此时宇宙坠下一颗陨石，陨石有一个人工的时空囊。地球和平联盟TPC的GUTS小队通过时空囊了解到地球将有大灾难发生。而此时，时空囊预言的两大怪兽·“哥路渣”和“米路巴”先后出现，GUTS小队便根据预言寻找收藏在金字塔的三大巨人的身体。
几经寻找后GUTS队员们终于找到金字塔，但两大怪兽也到来了。虽GUTS拼死守护，但三个巨像已被破坏剩一个，队员·大伍的战机也被击中，且逃生装置失灵。在危急关头，大伍突然化成光，和最后一个的石像结合。光之巨人“迪加”因此而复活，并与两大怪兽展开了战斗……
