美丽的铃村亚佐美（小川亜佐美 饰）是供职于东京某公司的白领，她的生活波澜不惊，按时上下班，和好姐妹们闲聊家长里短。亚佐美的母亲早年去世，多年来和父亲耕平（日野道夫 饰）相依为命。24岁的她至今还未成家，耕平为了女儿的婚事分外焦急，积极为她物色对象，然亚佐美却始终不为所动。另一方面，亚佐美和公司的科长长期维持着不伦之恋，彼此纠缠不清。
公司内30岁的单身女青年泉田驹子（中島葵 饰）开放爽朗，绯闻频出，被内部人称作“公共汽车”，但她何尝不期盼一段美好的恋情。在去亚佐美家共度30岁生日时，驹子和耕平一见钟情，更到了谈婚论家的地步。这突如其来的变故，令亚佐美备感失落……

Sisterhood is powerful. Before leaving for a mission in Africa, Runa, a nun, visits her sister three years after entering the convent when her sister stole Runa's boyfriend. Runa comes to forgive and to help her sister make enough money buying and selling some convent property so she can marry. The old boyfriend has new women in his life, but he and the sister tell Runa they're a couple in order to keep the property deal. To make even more money, Runa's sister wheedles large gifts from various men she's stringing along. There are flashbacks to Runa's sexual awakening at the convent. But what are her real reasons to close this deal?

A shiftless resident in a boarding house spends his days crawling in the attic and spying on the renters below. One day he spies an elegant lady enter a room where a clown awaited her and watched as he pleasured her. But she spotted him watching and it aroused her more. A decadent count in 1920′s Japan becomes obsessed with the life and works of the Marquis de Sade. He creates a theatre to show plays adapted from the notorious writer’s novels and recruits thieves, prostitutes and low lives to act out his fantasies on stage for the delectation of his rich, jaded friends. In search of new sensations the nobleman orders one of the actors, on pain of death, to make love to the nobleman’s wife while he watches. Unfortunately, this incursion of real life into his fantasy world will have dire consequences for the count and his divinely decadent coterie.

A footballing law student tutors an undergraduate, developing into a romance that soon enough goes awry.
