Nobita and his friends embark on a rescue mission to save Gian and Suneo, whom, after playing one of Doraemon's futuristic video games, are held captive by an evil alien force.

Nobita's dad stumbled upon a strange advertisement of a fantastic resort on television at midnight. Sleepy as he was, he made a reservation even though he didn't even realize he was talking to the advertisement. The next day he discussed with the family their holiday plans, only to realize he could not find the place anywhere on earth. All of a sudden though there was a suitcase in Nobita's room and intrigued as he was, he opened it only to find a portal to a beautiful resort managed by tin robots. Better still, it's absolutely free. It seems that there is a hidden agenda behind the person who invites them there.

科学警备队队员光超一郎从宇宙空间站EGG3前往地球的途中与不明宇宙人遭遇，自称为"奥特曼"的宇宙人告诉他地球上的各种怪兽与超自然现象危机迫在眉睫，但奥特曼无法以宇宙人的身姿在地球上长期生活，所以便借用光超一郎的身体与之合为一体，并可以用"闪光之星"来随时变身，使人类得以应付即将到来的各种危机…作为奥特曼系列的动画版，比起特摄片有固有的优势。在这里，主角可以做以前奥特曼们无法完成的特技。同时在一话中可以有数个奥特曼和怪兽登场，而不用额外的开销。而且，怪兽的设计者们不用再被这个时代"怪兽的皮套需要适应人的体型"这一技术条件所限制。因此，他们的创造力可以无限发挥。

一天，从他的抽屉里钻出了一只自称哆啦A梦（富田耕生 配音）的机器猫，他告诉大雄他来自于未来的世界，主人是大雄的曾孙，由于实在不忍心看大雄被欺负，于是通过时光机器回到了现在。哆啦A梦的肚子上有一个四次元口袋，从中，哆啦A梦能够拿出许许多多只有未来才有的高科技产品，他想通过这些物品，来帮助大雄成长成为一个合格的大人。这些道具虽然给大雄的生活带来了便利，却也引发了不少的麻烦。有了哆啦A梦的陪伴，大雄的生活变得多姿多彩起来。

《大雄的怀念奶奶》（おばあちゃんの思い出），是一部哆啦A梦电影作品系列的附篇作品之一，首映于2000年3月11日，是哆啦A梦短篇电影系列第三部，改编自1979年哆啦A梦电视动画《老祖母的愉快回忆》和1986年的哆啦A梦系列电视动画《我爱奶奶》。该电影跟《大雄的太阳王传说 》同年上映。
《大雄的怀念奶奶》也是2000年第55届日本每日电影奖获奖的动画电影。

A 2002 Japanese short anime film based on the popular manga and anime series, Doraemon. It premiered on March 9, 2002 in Japan on a bill with Doraemon: Nobita in the Robot Kingdom. The movie's original plot was written by Hiroshi Fujimoto and Motoo Abiko.

Doraemon and its friends open a hole in the time and they're travel to the Country of Mayana, a lost Mayan civilization in the jungle.

To help him with his summer vacation project, Doraemon gives Nobita a kit which allows him to create a new world. The duo and their friends then go on a journey to witness the evolution of life.

Enter the tale of the Crusher Council, a group of rugged individuals known for assignments ranging from transportation to terraforming and everything in between. In the early days of space exploration the Crushers took on the job of destroying asteroids and defining space lanes. Because of their work, they were nicknamed "Crushers" which eventually became their business moniker. Despite the rough and ready nature of the Crushers' work, they subscribe to a few steadfast rules. Unethical and illegal assignments are taboo, and any Crusher accepting one is barred from the Union. Of course, this presents problems for shady clients who try to trick the Crushers into accepting misleading assignments. They know that once the Union accepts a case the Crushers are honor-bound to follow it through. Among the various worlds, the Crusher Council has a stunning reputation, and among the Crushers, the most elite team is the one led by Crusher Dan and his successor, Crusher Joe.
