艾索（艾迪·墨菲 Eddie Murphy 饰）是底特律黑白两道的大名人，身为警探，却也不时干些偷鸡摸狗的勾当，而且他侦办案件时经常不按程序办事，上司对他十分头痛。这天，艾索因为敲诈烟贩而差点被开除出去，幸亏好运气才免遭于难。 　　艾索偶遇了一位刚出狱的好友，这人带着巨额的德国债券来到了底特律。两人重逢后不久，艾索的这位朋友就被谋杀了。深谙此事不简单，艾索开始了调查。他独自一人追踪嫌疑人维克多来到了好莱坞的比佛利山，正当他准备上前盘问时，却被当地警察带回了警局。当艾索调查得悉维多克的确在贩毒时，当地的警长同意介入调查，却将艾索打发回老家。艾索只好劝说当地的一名警员比利（祖德·莱茵霍尔德 Judge Reinhold 饰）和他合作，两人开始了私自调查。

我们的反常规干探艾索（艾迪•墨菲 Eddie Murphy 饰）又回来了！艾索身为底特律的刑警，却三番四次跑到了洛山矶去破案，这次也不例外。艾索被派遣调查一宗谋杀案，他发现了案中的一连串线索，顺藤摸瓜之下最终追踪到了洛山矶比佛利山上一个大型游乐场的主人。
回到久违的洛山矶，艾索当然要找到前两集的最佳拍档――洛山矶刑警比利（祖德•莱茵霍尔德 Judge Reinhold 饰）。于是比利和艾索两人深入虎穴，直接来到了游乐场调查。没想到的是，游乐场主人在这里设置了重重障碍，面对他们的将是连场恶斗！

描述一群恐布份子入侵一所全美最烂的私立高中，发现该校学生竟都有显赫的家世背景，遂决定将他们挟为人质，与美国政府谈判。最后在一群平日最调皮的学生运用机智与自然科学天才，击退歹徒。

这是比佛利山超级警探的第二集。艾索（艾迪•墨菲 Eddie Murphy 饰）在上一集破案后老老实实地回到了底特律当他的刑警，回到底特律的他顿时感到百无聊赖。于是，艾索每周都会找他在洛山矶办案时结识的好朋友兼好搭档洛山矶警局的局长博格密尔（罗尼•考克斯 Ronny Cox 饰）出海钓鱼。
可是这周博格密尔临时取消了和艾索的钓鱼活动，事后艾索才得知原来博格密尔卷入了一单复杂危险的案件侦察中。博格密尔不幸在调查中被犯罪枪击受伤，现在正住在医院里。向来讲义气、嫉恶如仇的艾索又怎能按耐得住，于是他马上来到了洛山矶约上最佳搭档比利（祖德•莱茵霍尔德 Judge Reinhold 饰），要一展身手为好友报仇。

在新奥尔良的露天广场，底 莫提先生办公楼后面的喷泉里，警方发现一具死尸，死者伏瑞德 安吉洛为底莫提先生工作了20年，死前仍是他的员工。巧合的是，绝顶聪明却玩事不恭的警官里米中尉住在同一条街道上。反腐办公室察觉到此次谋杀事件可能涉及到警察腐败问题，派助理检察官安妮前往新奥尔良警署调查此案。里米被安妮的美貌迷到，为了能得到佳人芳心，大胆出击。幕后黑手的操纵，连环谋杀事件发生，到底谁是真凶？本片情节跌宕起伏，又不乏幽默搞笑之处，值得一看。

After an eleven year absence from the screen, Sidney Poitier chose to return in an action/adventure film where he plays an FBI agent in search of a killer.
He's got good reason to want this guy bad. His quarry is ruthless and kills without mercy. Poitier loses a hostage and the ransom he's asked for. But some good detective work has traced the man to a remote part of the Pacific Northwest.
Where the perpetrator has killed again and joined a party of dry fly fishermen being guided by Kirstie Alley into the rugged mountains. No place for a city kid like Poitier, says mountaineer/hermit Tom Berenger who has the prerequisite skills to get the job done. These two are forced into an alliance of inconvenience.
The best thing I liked about Shoot To Kill is the guessing game we play for the identity of the perpetrator. Any one of the five men in Kirstie Alley's party could have been the killer. Look at the cast list and you'll recognize a few names who've played some pretty loathsome villains in the past. The identity is revealed suddenly and quite shockingly.
What I didn't like with Shoot To Kill is the fact that the final confrontation with the perpetrator is in big city Vancouver where he's escaped with Alley. He needed her in the woods, not any longer, she should have wound up dead. And Berenger and Poitier should have confronted him in the woods.
That script decision made the climax a rather ordinary one that you see in a whole lot of police chase films. Still all the players do fine here, my favorite being Kirstie Alley as the woods smart guide.

New York detective Mike Santini is enjoying a holiday with his family when he spots Eddie Meyers a fugitive from justice who might be the key witness in a high profile case involving money laundering. Santini plays a major role in capturing Meyers which prompts the wiley criminal to request Santini to be the interrogating officer. The two size each other up in the interrogation room in a thriller that provides a number of unexpected twists.
