After her father’s death, Anna Peterson moves with her family from Australia to a run-down ranch in New Zealand, where they face an unwelcoming community. Drawn to horses, Anna becomes captivated by a wild stallion being hunted by a neighboring rancher.

The film tells the story of the first English settlers in Virginia and the Native Americans who lived there.
