Daniel Paz, profesor universitario, se retira unos días a un balneario para escribir unos guiones cinematográficos y superar así un desengaño amoroso. Durante su retiro conoce a dos hermanos: David y la quinceañera Eli. Daniel intima con la joven Eli y poco después descubre que la relación entre los dos hermanos va más allá del amor fraterno.

Susana Macaya, a young woman, is found murdered a few days before her wedding after having been brutally tortured in a heinous ritual. Coincidentally, her sister, Lara, suffered exactly the same fate seven years before.
