据Deadline报道，两部续集将于2023年初开启背靠背拍摄，原班人马回归。据悉，两部续集将模仿《十一罗汉》的模式，邀请一些大明星配合强森、加朵和小贱贱一起演出。《红色通缉令》结尾，三人来到法国巴黎卢浮宫，似乎要开启新的夺宝任务。

《红色通缉令》原本是环球和传奇影业在2018年合作的项目，但影片制作预算来到2亿美元（包含明星片酬）后环球选择退出，不差钱的Netflix接盘。
