金砖国家首部合作影片《时间去哪儿了》由贾樟柯监制，汇聚五位来自中国、俄罗斯、印度、巴西、南非的电影导演，以“不忘初心”的态度，分别以“时间去哪儿了”为主题拍摄一部电影短片，以自己的独特视角，讲述出自己对时间和情感的不同理解。五部短片依次为：巴西导演沃尔特·塞勒斯《颤抖的大地》、俄罗斯导演阿历斯基·费朵奇科《呼吸》、印度导演马德哈尔·班达卡《孟买迷雾》、南非导演贾梅尔·奎比卡《重生》以及中国导演贾樟柯《逢春》。

米洛（尤里·特斯瑞洛 Yuri Tsurilo 饰）和妻子坦亚（尤利娅·奥格 Yuliya Aug 饰）结婚多年，虽然漫长的婚姻生活中也曾遭遇过危机和困境，但两人齐心协力相互信任，彼此之间的感情一直十分要好。一场意外夺去了坦亚的性命，妻子的死让米洛陷入了悲伤和绝望之中，终日生活在回忆里，终于，他决定前往遥远的神圣之湖，在那里和妻子做最后的告别，开启新的生活。
米洛找到了好友艾斯特（伊格尔·塞格耶夫 Igor Sergeyev 饰），两人一同踏上了旅途。途中，关于坦亚的记忆和秘密一直萦绕在两人的周围，他们分享和承担着坦亚不算短暂的一生。当两人终于抵达目的地时，米洛震惊的发现了好友内心里隐藏多年的情感。

故事发生在1941年，纳粹占领了乌克兰，对生活在那里的犹太人进行了惨无人道的清洗。年仅6岁的安娜（玛塔·科兹洛娃 Marta Kozlova 饰）虽然在这场暴行中失去了双亲，但自己却奇迹般的活了下来，她躲在纳粹指挥官办公室废弃的壁炉烟道里，不知道何时才能够重见天日。
在担惊受怕的这些日子里，安娜白天小心的将自己隐藏起来，静静等待夜幕降临。只有当一切都沉睡在黑暗中后，她才敢偷偷的从藏身处出来，寻找一些食物和水源，以维系自己十分虚弱的生命力。在努力生存下去的同时，安娜也从来都没有放弃过寻找逃出生天的方法的希望。

A young fruit breeder Leonid Yets comes to the evacuation to the south in 1943 in order to bring out a new variety of apples. He finds the diaries of a man who recently died with a strange death. A decent woman is accused of the murder, and Yets together with his fellow, a Freudian painter Pierre, is trying to find the true cause of death. To do this, they will not only sink into the memories and dreams of the deceased writer, but also into the history of Russia of 1920s. Leonid is sure that everything has its own reasons, and the world is reasonable and logical. But the world is more complicated.

Working under orders tall, whimsical (according to the manifesto, a stuffed animal must make an appearance no matter what) and surreal, Korine’s Lotus Community Workshop drops Val Kilmer in an alternate-universe existence as a BMX-riding motivational speaker with a fanny pack. Fedorchenko’s Russia-set Chronoeye spins the tale of a grumpy inventor whose noisy neighbor interrupts his time-travel experiments. And Kwiecinski’s eerily beautiful Fawns follows a quartet of friends as they prance through an empty Polish town seemingly unconcerned about the deadly flood about to overtake them.”
