A solitary hiker along a footpath across a broad alpine meadow beneath a jagged mountain range. The landscape is wet, it is raining, with golden grasses, scattered granite boulders and a dark green conifer forest in the middle ground. The footpath runs along a narrow stream winding down through the valley. Above it, the rocky peaks emerge from drifting mist and low clouds. The overall character of the image is serene, moody and melancholic, with a muted tonality, the only bright spot is the hiker's orange backpack rain-cover.
