I moved my #bluesky account successfully to #leafplaza, a European derivative on #eu servers.
I did the movement not by myself, because my BS-Account was too huge (30 GB+), so the wonderful Leaf Plaza-Support helped me and did the movement overnight manually.
The Leaf Plaza App for #android and #ios is available for free in the app stores. There will be an #ipad version in the future too.
What's missing is a web front-end, but it will happen in the near future ...
So I usually hate sending over bluesky links anywhere since I'm not a fan, but Rob Ricci highlights some important distinctions between #activitypub and #atproto
Fundamentally, activitypub is designed to be useful with a partial view of the network. (Narrowing down to #mastodon here) Likes are communicated, mentions are communicated, and so on.
Over at atproto land, you have no option but to write to your repo, and so you have no choice but to view the entire network to say, find replies and such (narrowing to #bluesky here). So the only way you can get your data is to read the network and filter it yourself, or have someone else do it for you, which doesn't solve the problem, only shift it.

Looking for something that probably doesn't exist yet, but maybe someone here knows better.
I self-host both a Mastodon instance and a Bluesky PDS and I'd love to actually connect the two rather than just run them in parallel. Not a cross-poster. I mean real bridging: cross-protocol replies, likes, timelines, notifications, where an interaction on one side actually shows up as a native interaction on the other.
Is there anything out there that gets close to this for a self-hosted setup? I know Bridgy Fed exists, but from what I can tell it doesn't cover the full interaction surface and isn't really designed around self-hosted PDS + self-hosted Mastodon as the starting point.
Happy to hear about anything, experimental, WIP, half-broken. Just curious what the landscape looks like right now.

Eurosky launched https://portal.eurosky.tech today (oh the timing), and it's a neat little website.
A lot of the fediverse resource sites are comparatively more barebones and seemingly aimed at a more technical audience.
If you've been wondering about contributing somewhere, this could be an opportunity?
Heads-up to fediverse admins, Bluesky is having a bad day, in case you see dormant accounts coming back to life.
Ken White, aka Popehat, a lawyer and popular poster on #Bluesky was recently suspended (https://www.popehat.com/p/a-bit-of-tedious-drama-at-bluesky). Suspension now over, Ken writes:
"...I believe that returning after a suspension carries with it an implicit promise that I won’t post that, or something like it, again. I won’t make that promise, so I won’t return to Bluesky."
Indeed, Bluesky is demonstrating they can extort censorship with the ban hammer. Other users are put on notice it's not you this time, toe the line.

The thing about “vibe coding” is that even if the problem with your app isn’t caused directly or indirectly by it — as the #Bluesky top brass will undoubtedly claim — as soon as you admit that your app is wholly or partially vibe coded it has the AI stink upon it, and that will color your interactions with your user base for the rest of your app’s existence

#HolosDiscover currently blocks #Bluesky accounts bridged via #BridgyFed, because AT Protocol has no equivalent to the indexable flag.
The bridge is opt-in, but bridged users cannot signal refusal of third-party indexing.
Standard opt-out mechanisms remain functional: block @HolosDiscover, #nobot or #noindex in bio, mention with "unfollow".
