Ich habe das Buch in der deutschsprachigen Übersetzung (nur 442 Seiten) gelesen. Es ist ein interessantes Buch, in dem es vor dem Hintergrund einer Kriminalgeschichte um Themen wie Rolle der Frau (in der japanischen Gesellschaft), Einsamkeit aber auch um Kochen und Rezepte geht. Sehr lesenswert!
