I'm working on a new Jacques book of short stories, but that means paying my amazing colourist all of my money.
To ease the bludgeoning my wallet is about to take, perhaps you'd like to buy a copy of the original book in softcover or HARDCOVER?!

NEWLY PUBLISHED BOOK TO READ
My latest book - THE WILD - takes the view that "anarchy", often extrapolated in and through the historical, socially-derived politics of anarchism, should instead be characterized on a naturalistic and queer basis as "the wild" (in much the same way as Kropotkin observed nature and came up with the principle of "mutual aid" in fact).
Through thirteen chapters this idea is then teased out, explained and extrapolated as something both ethical and political that is contrary to patriarchal, capitalist, industrial and technological human civilization as it has developed.
As such, this book is both a call to the wild (and to the truth and reality of the wild) and to the assertion that in feralness there is an authenticity of the mutual co-existence of all things to be found.
The book can be downloaded FOR FREE from the link below in multiple formats or read online. It can also be read to you via text to speech on that page.

Mirad, yo respeto mucho los gustos de cada quien, pero en lo personal no sabéis lo que estoy deseando que termine la moda del romantasy porque miro las novedades de fantasía y todo es romantasy, romantasy, romantasy... me quita las ganas de vivir.

For those new to my page, I post a little about writing, and a lot about my family's cats.
My first series, I Guess We're Heroes, is a sci-fi/thriller available in paperback, audiobook, and ebook (including Kindle Unlimited). Links to both books are at the bottom of this post.
My next series is in the works, and will be fantasy/LitRPG!
finished reading Carl's Doomsday Scenario
Well that escalated quickly.
This series has been so much fun to read. Wondering how come I hadn't heard of it sooner.
I'm super late for my biannual re-#introduction post... Whoops! 😅
Anyway, I'm slanderoid. I'm just some guy from a tiny #rural village in Midwest, USA. I came to #Mastodon after #Twitter turned into a medical waste dumpster fire back in 2022. I'm turning 40 in a week and I feel weird about it
I'm a #geek. (Or a #nerd, I'm not sure which.) I love #horror of all kinds. I used to play a lot of #VideoGames but not so much, lately. I'm more into #movies and #music at the moment. I love #books and I can often be found #reading something. My wife and I run a big #LittleFreeLibrary from our front lawn. We've got some big plans for it next year!
I recently launched a website full of my #writing over at https://notaherostory.com. #NotAHeroStory has been my dream for many years and it's cool that, after some hard work, time, and dedication, it finally exists! If you're into #fantasy, #comedy, #LitRPG, or #beer, you should check it out. It's 94% free!
If you're new here, welcome! 😄

It's tragic that Nassun, in a fit of rage, comes to understand her father's filicidal outbursts—but can't quite make the connection that what she aims to do with her fear and hatred is just as evil as what Jija did to Uche with his.
So close! Just a wee bit more self-reflection and she'd get there…
Ah, but we're only a quarter of the way through the book. There's time and hope for Nassun yet.

Does anyone have a list of book blogs, legit book reviewers, book magazines, and such places a Mastodontian author could get visibility for their book?
Speaking for myself and other indies that could use the boost, since many of us have left META and need new ways to share the exitement of new releases. (:

Once the majority has decided a marginalized group is the demon in one part of a story, it’s easier to paint them as demons in another.
But it doesn't have to be this way. These #books offer a humane approach to #trans athletes: https://www.texasobserver.org/trans-athletes-inclusion-sports-culture/
Do you hate AI, love discovering new indie authors, and love Fantasy stories that get DARK?
Then I suggest that you preorder Once Upon A Fairytale, an anthology that has all that (and you get to prove the power of Mastodon as THE place for us indies)!
Please share, so others too can find a good read for the fall season. <3
