1 of 2 These two tiny frogs were photographed less than a minute apart and within a metre or few. As different as they look (next post), I think they are both Boreal Chorus Frogs Pseudacris maculata (the ones that sing in ponds in the spring).Fast little critters+ crappy photos..lol
This is in wetland area on the farm just outside the acreage.

frog 1 same alt all pics Several views of a tiny frog moving around among coarse grass/sedges the blades, which seem almost half as wide as the frog. The frog is a light medium green on its back blending to beige/tan on its almost translucent legs with some faint to dark spots mostly toward the back ends. On its sides, the green gives way to the same tan colour, with a dark border band, mostly at the front and a wider dark band on the sides toward the belly. In a couple of the shots, somewhat out of focus, the light coloured sides are more prominent, with the sun hitting them and turning the textured flesh (like little raised dots) into sparkles.
