As I gaze upon the Christmas tree in the public square, I'm struck by its significance. This evergreen symbol, adorned with a star or angel, represents the eternal and vibrant spirit of life. In contrast to the barren trees of winter, the Christmas tree embodies hope and renewal, reminding us that our existence is rooted in the promise of everlasting life.
The intersection of these symbols fills me with joy and a deep sense of connection to the scriptures. Jesus' words in Matthew 11:28-30 come to mind: 'Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.'
