A Common Gallinule - chicken-like marsh bird with blackish plumage, thin white side stripe, thick yellow legs, and a bright red bill with a yellow tip - parent lowers its head so its beak is almost touching that of the fledgling - black downy plumage, two-toned beak that is reddish orange at the base with an orangish-yellow tip - standing between its legs.
