The
inclusion of Autistici/Inventati on the US Specially Designated Global Terrorist list is a kick in the guts for all of us hosting services for others, whether it's fediverse instances, blogs, mailing lists or anything else. While most of us will hopefully never be on the receiving end of such a designation, the US regime has demonstrated how easily they can ruin our lives by throwing a politically motivated terror designation our way.
You may think that you're safe. You're not doing anything illegal after all. Just providing some infrastructure, a services or a place for people to come together and communicate. Privately. In confidence. Anonymously.
That was also what Autistici/Inventati was doing.
We're all targets now. And if we don't stand up against it, we let the fascists win!
