The new PPWR packaging rules in the EU seem to be designed (along with the similarly overreaching GPSR) to send all individual crafters, artisans, secondhand sellers, studios, Etsy sellers, etc. out of business.
The new laws seem to require registrations in every country's recycling schemes, impact and risk analyses of all packaging, authorised representatives in every country, and technical documentation about the packaging (and the products for the GPSR) to be included with everything that is shipped or sold.
If you are a crafter or artist or studio, there are ways to raise your voice.
