Hello All - it's time for another album and this one is called "Contemplations".

The back story for this is long and complex but in short the album is a set of linked, but different musical rhythms interspersed with interludes. If you want the full story then it is available by download with the purchase of the album or by being a subscriber to my mailshot.

If you know me from #Fairplayer, I have a new home for my posts in English, mostly about free software, music, the independent digital music ecosystem, etc.: @txels - I will be gradually migrating that activity over the week.

I love the music from 1950s science fiction movies and I always wanted to make a track in the genre. Hence, the track Space Aliens, which is out now on #Bandcamp, #Mirlo, #jamcoop and #subvert.

It is also on #soundcloud and #fairplayer for streamers.

The music was of course recorded live in one go with no overdubbing or use of a DAW.

However, it's not much of a film score without a film so I took a creative commons film and made a 5-minute 1950s movie from it - eliminating the talking and replacing with captions.
