There were a few good questions for me after my #Fediday talk about cooperative social networks. I want to recapitulate them to make sure I addressed them well.

Really big sad that John Pleroma is nowhere to be found on the #Fediday livestream

4 Wochen Weltgeschehen in nur einer Folge @rebootpolitics, geht das? Na klar!
Wir sprechen u.a.

⁂It's midnight on a Tuesday and I may have had one too many jinnantonnix, but holy heck I am feeling the fediverse love. #FediCon #FediDay and #COSCUP2026 all meshing, probably more stuff I don't know about. Massive internet hugs to everyone involved in making open social the way we do things. I'm so proud and happy to be working alongside you all.
Ewch ymlaen!
Large envelopes were sent out; some were delivered in person, as here in eastern Germany, specifically for the #Fediverse #Fediday #Hackspace

Tonight at 18:30 at FediDay Berlin, I’ll be presenting and running a workshop about LeaveX.
If you’d like a preview, or want to contribute before we even start, everything is already online:
📊 Slides: https://slides.eza.link/leavex-fediday/
📌 Session: https://ctalx.c-base.org/fediday-2026/talk/UA7NE7/
📝 Collaborative pad: https://pad.okfn.de/p/leavex
🎥 Live stream (added)
https://fair.tube/w/aHbQa1ReQdRfVdq7w39Now
The workshop is meant to be participatory: we’ll work together on concrete actions that can help people, organisations and communities reduce their dependence on X and other Big Tech platforms.
Feel free to start editing the pad already with ideas, examples, comments or possible actions.
If you’re at FediDay tonight, come take part in the workshop, not just the presentation. 🙂

At #FediDay, @julian presents how multiple #SciOp-instances could federate via ActivityPub 💜

Last weekend, roughly 200 media, IT, and policy people met at #FediDay Berlin to discuss the status quo & future of the #Fediverse & decentralized #SocialMedia.
Our @lxplm also attended – albeit on behalf of #SWR X Lab (welcome to the #ARD federation). Together with @Silbendrechsler (who runs the @3sat account), he discussed ongoing Fedi projects in the world of German public broadcasting.
The session (& many others) will be available via @peertube soon.
For updates, follow @berlinfediday.

Dear Fedi friends,
I want to share a discovery that made my MONTH.
10 days ago, while I was putting together the slides for my presentation at Berlin #FediDay, I noticed a new entry in the @cercle directory (the Mastodon instance set up by the Service Numérique of the French Ministry of Culture):
✨ @MuseeOrsay ✨
Ouiiiiii!
Paris' super prestigious museum - that welcomed 7.3 million visitors last year - is now on the #Fediverse !!! 🥳
Let's give Musée d'Orsay a warm welcome ❤️

Yep, here's my presentation at Berlin FediDay 2026, where I talked about SciOp and its federation plans. 🙂
That was a really nice environment and audience for this exchange. Good Q&A too. I'm looking forward to the recording of the “research on the fediverse” panel at the end of the session.
