I'm currently working on interoperability testing for #Hollo and #Fedify, and I need a #Bonfire account to test federation with their implementation.

Since there aren't many open public Bonfire instances available, I was wondering if any Bonfire instance admins out there would be willing to grant me a test account? It would be a huge help for improving interop! Let me know if you can help. Thanks!

The Fediverse is so cool because of the diversity of the different software. In the last weeks, I did build a (completely?) new one. The Menuverse consists of two software: 1) create daily changing dishes like in a canteen, and 2) can aggregate different of this actors in a marketplace. The working title for this is Menuverse.
Every canteen is Fediverse actor and not only can these marketplaces subscribe to this, but also other softwares like Mastodon, Misskey and so on.
I created a demo setup with live data from different university canteens here:

(The data and frontend is currently only in German).

After about twelve hours, the same post had received more than 300 shares and likes on Mastodon, while it had only been shared three times and liked four times on BlueSky.

I'm no social media expert, but it's amazing how reluctant people are to use Mastodon because of its lack of reach and interaction.

If we bring more people here, the Fediverse could become the de facto public square.
