Just added the official dates to the #fediZineFest site!
here's the rundown:
artist signup opens THIS FRIDAY (Sep 18 2026)
two weeks later, Oct 2, signup closes. This includes the waitlist
four weeks after that, Oct 30th, physical zine bundle purchasing closes. We gotta make sure artists have plenty of time where they know how many zines they need to make!
eight weeks after that (12 weeks after artist signup closes) - Dec 25 2026 - is the artist submission deadline. Digital zines must be in the digital drive; physical zines must be in the mail. Yes, there will be a little wiggle room for holidays.
4 weeks after that - Jan 22 2027 - physical zines are expected to have arrived at me!
4 weeks after that - Feb 19 2027 - digital zines are organized and ready to share and I have shipped out physical zines. the digital zine backer bundles finally close in preparation for sharing.
FINALLY, 4 weeks after that - 19 Mar 2027 - we expect everything to be delivered in all formats!
