My #FunADay project this year is to arrange a piano piece for guitar. I've never done any composition before and arranging a piece for a different instrument sounds like a good place to start.
I'm going to choose a short piece from my friend's favourite piano album: Golden Autumn 1 by Fariborz Lachini

For #FunADay I’m gonna work on being an artist again. Going to dive back into drawing and embroidery ! Will post progress pics on the projects I’m working on
I'd like to do something totally different each day for #FunADay if I can manage it.
Today I returned to my longtime pastime of doodlefying a simple drawing until you can't tell what the original was (my nascent bands logo)

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! #FunADay has come round at last and once again I’m going for the lightest lift possible because the lack of light sucks the life energy from my withered husk of a bodymind.
I’m gonna do BookRecs but only of books that I didn’t get to recommend much bc as a “public intellectual” or whatever people might actually read your rec so you better give them the most useful, legible resource instead of that weirder shit that rules.
For my #FunADay I will be working on a birthday present for a close friend who is not on blastadon. I can't say much more than that for fear of a leak! But I will probably share a little something most days that is related to my FAD...perhaps in many months I will reveal what the project was.

I was under the impression that the purpose of #funaday is to simply do something fun every day during one of the most depressing months of the year, but I see other people have chosen to do one thing that they try to do every day (ie: draw something, take a photo), so now I’m wondering if I may have been mistaken in my initial impression?
#FunADay day 7: finally figured out how to connect these triangles properly, after a few days of fiddling with it. the two biggest pieces of this project are just about done now! it's gone much more quickly than anticipated! I might need a second project!

Ok, here's my #FunADay thread.
Im gonna listen to a 7" every day. Except I'm not around my 7"s every day so ill just catch up and by the end I will have listened to 28 7"s.
I have 6 boxes of 7"s and most of the boxes have around 100 records in them so im picking the box with a standard die, and picking the record with these other two die that let me roll 0 to 100.
Gonna be posting a Discharge shirt from my ridiculous collection every day this month (and probably well into March). I think this one was from one of the New York’s Alright fests, so somewhere between 2013-2015.

White-breasted Nuthatch at my feeder this morning.
A plump lil weirdo that is often found upside down, creepin along a tree in search of snacks. The White-breasted is larger than the Red-breasted Nuthatch and has just a slight black eyeliner wing vs the thick black line across the head/eye. Also the name gives away the color difference between the two. Both have very cute, similar sounds that require some practice to distinguish.

I’m looking forward to a daily routine of practicing this neglected hobby. It’s hard doing things you enjoy but aren’t particularly skilled at.
