A young brown tabby cat (Kestrel) with white under-trimmings has loafed to nap on a green blanket, which in turn is on a red couch.

Also on the blanket is a stuffed toy monkey only slightly smaller the she is. The monkey has yellow face and ears and is lying on it's side with it's right arm sticking directly upwards, head-first toward the viewer and at right angles to Kestrel who has adorably propped her chin up on it's face.

Also on the couch and immediately behind Kestrel is a white cushion against which the curve of her back cuts a sharp outline. The photo is well lit, which highlights that her lighter stripes shade away from brown or tan towards ginger.
