As it took a bit of effort and time to hike up to this isolated lake, I'm in no particular hurry to turn around and head back the nine miles to the parking lot.

I rather think I'll find a spot on the banks, under a tree, where I can sit and watch the surface of the water ripple in the light breeze.

On Sunday 31st of May the Storyteller, a beautifully carved and created wooden statue by Robert Lawrence, was installed on Waterside Hill along the Southern Upland Way.
