A once-grand synagogue, converted into a swimming pool. Now abandoned and decaying. Somewhere in Poland.
Built at the start of the 20th century, this Polish synagogue was stripped and desecrated by Nazi forces, who converted it into a swimming pool for soldiers.
It remained a community pool for 50 years post-war. Now privately owned and hollowed out by a 2023 fire, the building stands as a sad ruin.

#Lafarge paid approximately $6.5 million to #ISIS and other terrorist groups in #Syria between 2013 and 2014. It has been fined about $1.3 million for financing terrorism and $5.3 million for violating international sanctions. Lafarge executives attempted a defense strategy similar to that used by industrialists at #Nuremberg, claiming they were merely maximizing profits.
