Luxulyan Valley, Cornwall
A deep valley full of industrial archaeology, now partially reclaimed by nature: mining, stone quarrying and china clay production that required a robust transport system of tramways, inclines and leats. It includes Treffry Viaduct over the river that ran a tramway on the top and transported water underneath the track.
Superb place. And great weather when we went a week or so ago.
