Well I added image caching so it is not painful to use any more, and having-images-in-the-middle-of-hexagons. This useage/install intro leaves out my deep learning implementation notes, it is just about the hexagons and pictures and construction.
@hairylarry any chance I could get you to use it to make a honeycomb layout of pictures *yourself* ?

I said a few times off the cuff, and I think I agree that this is one of the best things I programmed. I recently rewrote it so it would just trivially work with sbcl as well as ecl, I had formerly done a bunch of nonportable stuff. Watch the video in the article.
