The tip of a peninsula on a foggy morning in November. Several trees, mostly deciduous and now leafless, though the maple on the left still clings to it's foliage, stand near the shoreline of the lake. The undergrowth is frosted. The trees are reflected on the surface of the lake. A mountain ridge in the background is almost completely obscured by the fog except at the extreme left.

A serene and expansive view of a long, straight canal cutting through a lush, green landscape under a cloudy sky. On either side of the canal, vibrant green vegetation thrives, with tall grasses and various yellow wildflowers lining the banks.
