The Pt Reyes Lighthouse
The Pt. Reyes Lighthouse sits on the Northwestern Point of Pt. Reyes National Seashore in Marin County a little over an hour and a half north of San Francisco. The lighthouse wouldn't be so special if it didn't sit on the piece of real estate that it sits on.
To get out to the lighthouse a person must first walk down 300+ steps to get to the building.

The Pt Reyes Lighthouse

A white lighthouse sits atop a dramatic cliff-lined point overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Steep coastal terrain and expansive ocean views create a striking sense of height, isolation, and natural beauty.

This image has a wonderfully cinematic quality. The elevated perspective and sweeping coastline create a feeling of standing on the edge of the world while the lighthouse serves as a quiet symbol of resilience and guidance.

I don’t get people carving stuff into historical monuments. There’s a special place in Hell for them.
// Exif on post’s instance

Vertical photo. In a cylinder white wall, a black door, carved with graffitis, mainly initials. It has multiple squares, and the one at the bottom right is a green vent grid
