So this New York sloth has made his way over to a new server. Please be patient with me as I reconnect with anyone I inadvertently left behind. Adjustment will be a slow process, but that’s just how I roll. Give me a shout out, Fedi Fam, if I’ve lost you in the shuffle. #photography #BelieveInFilm #NYC #NewYork #Mamdanistan

A field of pilings stands in the East River; the deck they once supported is long gone. On the left half of the photo, across the river, rise the buildings of Lower Manhattan. The right half of the picture shows some of Brooklyn Bridge Park's trees.

A tree growing in the yard of Trinity Church in Lower Manhattan provides a contrast in both form and tone to the Oculus and World Trade Center buildings rising behind it. I try to make a habit of bringing a camera with me when I run errands in parts of the City that I don't often frequent. I was glad to have brought my old Rollei AFM and some CineStill BWxx downtown with me when I had some federal paperwork to sort out. #photography #monochrome #BelieveInFilm #NYC #NewYork #Mamdanistan #Rollei

A monochrome photograph shows a bare tree branching out through the fog in front of the Oculus and One World Trade Center in Lower Manhattan.
