A black and white photograph featuring individuals dressed in elaborate feather headdresses, which suggests a cultural or ceremonial significance. The foreground shows one person with distinct jewelry on the headpiece and another individual partially visible behind him. The background is filled with foliage that appears to be part of an outdoor setting, possibly during daytime given the lighting conditions. Notable features include detailed textures like feathers and beads in the headdress, which contribute to a sense of cultural richness captured through visual storytelling by photographer Ed van der Elsken as documented in Mannen met verentooien, Mexico 1960.

The image is a black and white photograph capturing two individuals wearing elaborate headdresses adorned with reflective elements, possibly sequins or beads. These headpieces suggest cultural significance, likely for ceremonial purposes such as traditional dances or festivals. The background features natural foliage, which could indicate an outdoor setting during the daytime. There's visible contrast between light and dark tones in the image due to its monochrome nature.
