Rated The Seven Year Itch 4/10

I guess I don’t know what I was expecting from such a hugely well known film, but it was definitely not watching some weird unpleasant guy thrash around for the whole movie. Obviously Marilyn is very pretty but otherwise maybe the appeal of this film is lost to time. Baffling ending, both because of the final events don’t make any sense but also baffling because it ends so suddenly you’re left with no clue what the point of any of it was. Adultery is ?????: the movie.

Funny and self-aware while being touching at the same time. I also can't help but feel like there is some cultural significance to HVAC that I am out of the loop on. Plus it has Kevin McDonald! I feel like most reviews fail to mention this very important fact.
