<p>I had written and recorded this folk/country song. It was just me playing the guitar and singing. Then I had this dream.</p><p>I climbed a tall mountain. There, at the very top, sat Bob Marley. He said to me, &quot;Your song, man. It needs percussion.&quot; I said, &quot;Okay.&quot; He said, &quot;And bass. Lots of bass. Oh! And maybe try a better rhythm, man!&quot;</p><p>&quot;Got it!&quot;</p><p>Suddenly, Elton John parachuted in, knocking Bob down the mountain slope. He wore those really big glasses and bright red boots. With parachute dangling like a cape, he exclaims, &quot;That&#x27;s much better than that dirge you had! Now, let me show you how to mix this! There are other instruments!&quot;</p><p>&quot;Perfect!,&quot; I replied. &quot;Is this everything I should do?&quot;</p><p>&quot;Oh, and do lose the sad guitar.
