Ever since I started with my Metaljourneys, you keep telling me to do #BoltThrower next.
Ok.
Welcome to my #BoltyBolt #Metaljourney 🤘
Wikipedia tells me that Bolt Thrower was formed in a toilet during a hardcore punk gig.
Their debut album is called "In Battle There is No Law!", released in 1988. It starts off very groovy. I still don't really like the vocal style though...

#DevinTownsend - Home At Night (Official Music Video). A new piece from #TheMoth.
It's been a busy couple of weeks, so forgive me for not yet announcing the new episode of The In-Tray that's now available on Mixcloud for your discerning ears.
Full to the brim with fine boxfresh tunes from the last year-or-two, taking in ambience, global grooves, post-rock, dub, and jazz - sometimes all at the same time. Helping to keep your brainwaves flowing in the right direction.

#NowPlaying Barre Phillips / Mike Bullock - At Home
I’d almost forgotten about this wonderful album of 6 improvised solo bass pieces, recorded in 2019 in Phillips’ home in France. The resonance of the old stone chapel adjoining his house is remarkable, and Mike’s notes about how it came to be and the recording itself only add to the atmosphere of it all.

Lehto - Hunaja is out now! ✨
Hunaja (Finnish for Honey) is the first single to be taken off @lehto's forthcoming Sisu album, an excursion on his musical roots, creating his own vision of soulful electronic music.
An expressive intro evolves into a heavier, club appealing breakbeat affair that effortlessly combines genres, with some longing vocals leading the way.
